This is a raw wheat grain that packs a big grain flavor and produces a light straw colored brew. It is used to impart flavor notes, cloudiness, and improve head formation and is traditionally used in Belgian style beers. Please be aware, this raw grain is comprised of non-gelatinized starches with a high protein content. Depending on your recipe, a cereal mash and/or protein rest may be necessary.
