Cascade: Hop Rhizomes

It's time to grow some hops! Hop rhizomes come from the roots of hop bines. They can be grown in most states.

Rhizomes cannot ship to HI, AK, WA, or ID. These states do not permit the shipment of live materials through standard shipping methods.

The most popular hop for brewers. Medium to low alpha. 4.5-7.0%. With a moderate bitterness level and a fragrant flowery aroma similar to grapefruit, this hop lends itself to be the "go-to" hop for many commercial and homebrewers.

Popular in several different beer styles, this may be the hop you're looking for Great for Pale Ale, IPA, Barleywine, any American style beer.

Substitutions include Centennial and Amarillo. Commercial beers utilizing Cascade hops include Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Darkhorse Crooked Tree.

Hops are hardy in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 3 through 8.
